‘HYFRYDOL’, a hymn melody composed in 1844 by Welshman Rowland Hugh Pritchard, is used by a number of church denominations for a number of well-known hymns, including ‘Come, thou long-expected Jesus’ (Advent carol). The arrangement here is written in the key of A-Major and includes seconds (harmony).
