There are two different tunes set to the lyrics of ‘O Little Town of Bethlehem’. The tune used in this arrangement is often known as ‘FOREST GREEN’ (orig. ‘The Ploughboy’s Dream’), and is more widespread in the UK. (The tune more often heard in the U.S., ‘ST. LOUIS’, is not easily compressed into the range of a Scottish chanter.) This version was sourced from The New Oxford Book of Carols and is set in the pipe-friendly key of D-Major. A harmony part, first verse lyrics, and chord symbols are included.
