Description

A harmonized arrangement of the traditional Irish jig ‘The Old Hagg in the Corner’.  This is a setting for Scottish pipes based on a recording by uilleann piper Jerry O’Sullivan, on his O’Sullivan Meets O’Farrell album —specifically, the harmony part here is based on the harmonies played on the uilleann pipe regulators on the recording.  This setting was made for, and published in, Piping Today magazine (issue #91), in an article series dedicated to crafting harmonies for pipe tunes.
