A traditional Appalachian song and hoedown known by almost all old-time and bluegrass players, here adapted for Scottish-style pipes. Two versions are included on this PDF: the basic song melody (with first verse lyrics) and a fancier breakdown/hoedown version for dances and sessions. Set in the standard and pipe-friendly key of A-modal, with chord symbols and offbeat grace-notes (in imitation of Appalachian fiddling styles).
